From the beginning it was clear to see how much Joël cared for his dogs, he knew each puppy individually which was great to see! We got to see both mum and dad, Joël had so much knowledge of the breed and could tell us about the personality, temperament and history of both parents. We were immediately put at ease as Joël talked us through how he had been socialising the puppies and getting them ready for their forever homes.  From the day we brought Mocha home our lives have changed for the better and it’s all thanks to Joël for how he raises his puppies! She’s extremely confident, wants to be friends with everyone, mischievous and loves to play. Every day we are greeted with her wiggling her whole body as she’s so excited to see us. Joël has also set up a WhatsApp group with all the other puppies in the litter so we can all keep in touch. When you are looking for a good dog breeder, you are told that you must see the parents of the puppy, siblings and other offspring.  We did all that with Isaiki.  But what makes Joël a great dog breeder is that he really cares about his puppies post-sale.  Cosmo is our no. 6 labrador and only Joël has created a virtual community on WhatsApp with Cosmo’s sibling parents where we share photos, antics, concerns, questions that supports us all.  Many a time it gives us light relief to see what the other puppies from the litters are up to.  More than that, Joël is also part of that community and he often advises us on what to feed them whilst teething or whether they need a jacket or not.  But he is honest and transparent when it came out that there was a possibility of an infection caused by a parasite that was in Cosmo’s mother.  Having that upfront information enabled all of us to take proactive steps to have our puppies checked immediately.  These are the attributes of a great breeder - one who still cares about the puppies post-sale and still puts in the time to advise us owners.  The bonus is that his puppies are intelligent, easy to train, lovable, adorable and emotionally intuitive.  We would definitely have our next puppy from Isaiki Labradors.  Platinum rating from us!

After much research I contacted Isaiki Labradors who have the Kennel Club registration, Five Star Manchester Council rating and excellent owner reviews. I found Joël to be very knowledgeable, caring and his primary concern is the welfare of his animals and that they only go to suitable homes. Unusually, he has both the mum and dad so I was able to see them both as well as their puppies. He also provides lots of support after you collect your puppy including the option of a WhatsApp group for the new owners to connect, ask advice, share fun stories about the brothers and sisters.
Our girl is confident, intelligent, easy to train and has bags of character. When we’re out she gets complimented on how beautiful she is and gets lots of fuss which she loves. She is a fantastic girl.
If you’re considering a Labrador addition to your family, I definitely recommend Isaiki Labradors.

I am so happy I came across Isaiki Labradors when looking for a Labrador to help with my autistic daughter. We couldn’t be more thrilled with our experience of getting a chocolate Labrador puppy from Joël Lawson at Isaiki Labradors.  Bertie was going to be our first family dog and it was imperative that we found a breeder we felt comfortable with. From the moment we first contacted Joël, we were immediately impressed by his friendly, professional manner.  A lengthy, detailed questionnaire was quickly forwarded to us which suggested that Joël would not be handing over his puppies to just anyone  😉 .

When we first met Bertie at 8 weeks old after having initially having met his gorgeous mum and dad (Félicie and Césaire), we could immediately tell how much love and attention had gone into raising him. Joël breeds healthy, well-socialized puppies in what is clearly a very loving environment. Bertie was confident, friendly and so well-behaved for his age.  Joël also took the time to answer all of our questions and provided helpful advice on preparing for our new puppy’s arrival.

Since bringing our beautiful boy home at 10 weeks old, he’s been an absolute joy and we can see how much of a strong, loving foundation was laid by this breeder.  Having immediate access to a WhatsApp group of fellow puppy owners from Bertie’s litter has not just been reassuringly informative but has provided many shared moments of milestones reached and more than a few belly laughs at their hysterical antics.

We are so grateful for Joël’s expertise and for making the process so smooth and as such, we would highly recommend him and the Isaiki Labrador team to anyone looking for a healthy, happy puppy.

We can't praise Joël enough! Our Daughter asked for a Chocolate Labrador several months before her 7th birthday which was a surprise because she was extremely wary of all dogs. We decided we wanted a puppy for multiple reasons. If it was going to be her dog we needed to know its temperament and thought therefore best to get young and train.  We were so wary, we were in touch with 3 or 4 breeders who couldn't provide exactly what we wanted, in one way or another.    Then we found Isaiki. Joël had 2 litters a week apart in age. Whilst we were aiming for Jessica's birthday in September we were keen to collect a bitch as soon as she was ready, to enable Jessica to spend as much time as possible at home whilst on school summer holidays. We collected Tahlullah on 21st August and just like that our lives changed! (In the best possible way!)From first contact to present day Joël has been open, honest, contactable and an absolute fountain of advice. We were provided with every assurance imaginable...KC, hip & Eye scores, ancestry, insurance, comfort blanket, toy...the list goes on. Probably the most beneficial thing about Isaiki Labradors is just knowing that Joël bloody loves his babies and they can't go to just anyone. He's been hands on the whole way through and even now we have a WhatsApp group with a couple of litters worth of owners and Joël included. It is a wealth of support and information and Joël goes above and beyond to support everyone, he replies to messages quickly and he posts content showing various parents of the litters.  Tahlullah is now just over 6 months old, she is best friend to all of us. She's a dream to train even for a complete novice like me! She's daft in the best way and we hope she never changes! She will probably want a sibling in the next 12 months! Wow, what a fantastic chocolate Labrador we have! It's all thanks to Joël, who really is a caring and loving breeder. He continues to check in and advise you on eating, weights, how to help with training.Our choc lab is completely calm with other dogs and people, great on its lead, and had no issues with fireworks around Bonfire Night.Like any pup they need to adjust to their new environment and get used to living with a new family. He's honestly been so good and so much easier than expected. Hats off to Joël for bringing them up right in the first instance.On the first day, you will be added to a WhatsApp group (if you have the app) where you get to chat to the people who have rehomed the rest of their siblings. Joël has managed to build up a fantastic community for like minded people, where we're able to swap tips, stories and see where the other pups have moved to.We couldn't have asked for anything better, thanks Joël, and I hope we get another pup off you again one day. We are so glad we chose Joël when looking for a puppy. When meeting Joël, he showed us both mum and dad and was so helpful and supportive in picking the right puppy. I cannot give a high enough recommendation for Joël as a breeder. We were lucky enough to bring home one of his puppies just over a week ago.  Not only is he incredibly handsome (much like his mum and dad) but we could not have hoped for better as far as puppy behaviour goes.He was relaxed in the car all the journey home, has consistently slept through the night from the second night onwards, isn’t reactive to the postman or anyone who calls at the door and has shown absolutely no signs of anxiety.
Our puppy is very quick to learn, confident and evidently well socialised.  This is all thanks to the first class start that Joël has given him from day one and we cannot thank him enough.  
To say Joël loves all of his dogs is an understatement and the advice and aftercare he provided to us as new owners is invaluable. If you are considering welcoming a puppy into your home, you would be VERY well advised to speak to Joël.

We could not be more impressed with Joël and our overall experience with getting Macey. Joël was extremely thorough, and arranged a video call with us to discuss getting a dog, our expectations and if we had any questions at all about the process of raising a Labrador, which is so refreshing to be a part of. 

Macey is our second dog as we already have a Red Fox Labrador.  Macey has fit in incredibly well, and her loveable personality is well and truly shining through. We bought our wonderful Chocolate Labrador, Rose, from Isaiki Labradors in 2021. We only wanted to buy from a breeder who could demonstrate the highest standards of commitment to the health and wellbeing of their dogs, and this is why, after much research, we chose Isaiki. We could not have been happier with everything about our experience.

Joël clearly loves his dogs and this shines through in everything from the vetting process for purchasing a puppy, to the ongoing contact after purchase, to the beautiful nature of the dogs themselves. In addition to this, the hip and elbow scores from the parent dogs were the best we found anywhere, offering us great peace of mind about Rose's future health.

Rose is the most fantastic family dog. Her gentle temperament means she is great with everybody in our family - children, older people, even our guinea pigs! She is also very fit and active, making her a fabulous outdoor companion. She is beautiful looking, a classic Show Labrador.

I highly recommend Joël and his beautiful dogs. We are so happy with our stunning Isaiki Labrador.

From the first moments of searching online, to purchasing our beautiful puppy. Joël has been amazing. He has been very thorough in making sure the puppies went to a loving home, he has answered any questions that we have had, and given amazing advice. 

Our puppy Otis has an adoring temperament, is very loving and amazing to train. We could tell from the beginning of getting Otis that he already was starting to be trained by Joël, and that he had come from a passionate and inspiring breeder, who gives his all to the best upbringing a puppy could need.

For the first 8 weeks of Otis’s life, I never felt left out, as Joël would constantly send pictures and messages of Otis’s growing progress. I would highly recommend Joël for anyone looking to purchase a puppy. It’s a shame there weren’t more breeders like Joël around!

We couldn't be more delighted with our new addition to the family. I was a very, very nervous purchaser of not only our first pure breed but to add to this we were located overseas in the Caribbean at the time. 

After much research and having conducted a number of breeder interviews, (some quite alarming),  Joël and Isaiki Labradors was the clear choice forward after we both thoroughly vetted each other during the interview process. 

 Joël  was excellent, very professional, helpful and responsive to my many questions and logistics as we methodically worked through the export paperwork. We also kept in touch through WhatsApp regularly and Joël provided regular video updates of our pup and the litter. This continued all the way through to Joël's tearful goodbye at Heathrow.

Everything went as smoothly as can be expected and we are now proud owners of a well socialised, healthy happy Chocolate Labrador.

From my first conversation with Joël I had confidence I was dealing with someone who had their dog’s health and well-being at the heart of what they do.
 

We met all his dogs when we visited, all of which had amazing temperaments and were very much part of his family.
 

We had weekly updates on the puppies progress and  Joël  helped us chose the right puppy for our family.  Our pup settled the very first night and is a confident and healthy dog.

 Joël has been an outstanding breeder, providing above and beyond support from our initial puppy search all the way through to bringing our beautiful puppy home. I was initially searching for direct relation to my dog who we very sadly and unexpectedly lost last year, and Joël was one of a couple of KC registered breeders who had this pedigree that we considered. 

We were initially impressed he wanted to interview us to asses our suitability to have a Lab puppy and to fully understand what it entailed. Even though he was further away than the other breeder, we decided to make the trip to Manchester and were again impressed with the care he took of all his dogs and puppies but more importantly how happy and well all his dogs appeared!

We were welcome to stay as long as we wanted to meet all the pups, one of which eventually chose us! We were kept updated with the pup’s progress with text and regular videos.

We then had a major problem as we were due to move to our new house but there was a delay.  Joël  kindly offered to look after our chosen pup well past the agreed collection date, making sure his inoculations and vet checks were fully up to date, starting house training him and beginning walking him to lead.

To help even further,  Joël agreed to bring our pup to us after we had just moved in, saving a great deal of hassle!

We knew this particular family tree of Lab was exceptionally good in looks and intelligence due to our last couple, who were father and son, but we were delighted that “Blue” came to us well balanced, happy, keen to learn and beautifully groomed and looked after!

Further, Blue has recently been asked to move up from his puppy class, earlier than expected, into the dog training class, as he gets on so well with other dogs, he’s able to help the trainer with other dog’s behavioural issues.

He’s a delight to take out walking as he happily comes to call yet still has that spark of naughtiness/playfulness that makes him a real character - yet there’s not a shred of malice in him!

We’ve already been asked if we’re going to breed from him when he’s older by no less than 3 families who have fallen in love with him, including our own vet!

 Joël has a very real and evident care and concern for all his dogs and pups that is obvious as soon as you meet him and his animals, who truly adore him. The fact he has a Five Star rating from Manchester City Council is only second to his wonderful sense of humour and willingness to help in any way he can. 

We cannot rate him highly enough. Thank you  Joël!

When looking to add a labrador-shaped family member to our lives I looked at numerous breeders. It was important to me that the parents were health tested and due to the pandemic, it was really important that the puppies were well-socialised. 

 Joël did all this and more carefully vetting all potential puppy owners to make sure we were suitable, he clearly cares passionately about his dogs and we are still in touch with him through the puppy whatsapp group. 

Arwen is beautiful in every way and we would definitely consider another Isaiki  puppy!

  We bought a Labrador retriever puppy from  Joël in 2018. This was the first time we were going to be dog parents and we were super excited.  Joël made the entire process smooth. We had to have a fairly long conversation with Joël and meet him in person, before he decided to hand us a puppy which meant how much he cared for each puppy about how they would be taken care of in the place they go. 

Our Labrador, Bailey had all the necessary paperwork including the family tree and microchip in place. This was when he was beginning to be a breeder, We can only imagine how he has improved his service now. It’s hardly a surprise that recently, he has been offered 5 star for dog breeding. 

 Joël started all puppies on affordable dog food to make sure the buyer doesn’t struggle to get expensive food as the puppy might have gotten used to this; We felt this was very thoughtful of him towards a potential buyer. 

 Joël gave us sufficient and quality advice that I was grateful for as a first time buyer. He also checked if we were doing alright with Bailey for the first few weeks of bringing him home and helped us provide basic training for him. 

Bailey will soon be 5 years and  Joël has been incredibly supportive during this time. We personally have recommended him to many of my friends and would do the same to anyone who is interested to get a good quality lab puppy home.

We purchased a Labrador puppy from Isaiki Labradors, and we couldn't be happier with our experience.  Joël was so helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. He answered all of our questions and provided us with all of the information we needed to make an informed decision. 

Throughout the process and while waiting to receive our puppy Joël sent us videos update of all the puppies. When we received our puppy, we were impressed with their sweet and playful personality. It was clear that they were raised in a loving and nurturing environment. Any concerns that we had during the process were promptly addressed by Joël.

 We bought our puppy from Joël at Isaiki labradors in February 2020, we received lots of suppprt before we bought the puppy making sure it was the decision for us and it turned out to be the best decision we have ever made and we still continue to receive support to this day. 

Our Labrador Coco is of a calm nature, and a beautiful dog inside and out, she is fantastic with our children and has made a great addition to our family!

What can I say about Isaiki Labradors and  Joël the breeder, from the very first moment we decided to get another Labrador (Chocolate) this time, we did our homework and found Isaiki Labradors on the internet from the Kennel Club website.  
 

The communication from the very get go was fantastic, and after visiting Joël and the parents of the litter we were more than happy to move forward with Isaiki Labradors.
 

We had constant contact and updates from  Joël regarding everything to do with our new family member, including pictures, videos and constant messages as they slowly grew nearer to collection date.
 

All of the relevant information was passed to us and even though we have had a few Labradors over the years we still listened and even learned a lot from Joël regarding the care of the pup. Mavi is absolutely perfect in every way, loving caring and in perfect health and shape,

Joël’s house was full of animals - dogs, cats and puppies and it was a joy to see.  Both mum and dad were there.  

I bought a puppy book as I had not had a puppy before.  It listed all the questions I should ask a breeder including about the health of the parents. Joël supplied all this information without being asked.  

 Joël also made sure that we were suitable to purchase one of his pups and luckily we were.  We had to delay collecting our pup (Oscar) due to a prebooked holiday but Joël sent us picture and video updates. 

When we picked up Oscar Joël gave us a comprehensive puppy pack with all the information we would need going forward, and an assurance that we could contact him any time if we needed his advice.

 Joël’s Kennel Club advert claimed that the puppies were bred for health, temperament and beauty and this is so true.  Whatever Oscar does I know I can trust his good nature and he is certainly a handsome boy.  

He has brought us so much pleasure and is a boost for my mental health.

I would recommend Joël as a breeder to anyone looking for a Labrador puppy.
